When I gaze at into the heavens

A deep blue blanket of protection

I am happy

I can feel its strength pour into me

The moon stands pure and powerful

Ruler of the night

But not alone

Stars speckle the infinite canvas

Accompanying the moon on his watch

I can sense their presence

I am sheltered and safe

Under the endless skies
